The release of highly anticipated 'Dishonored 2' will be moved to 2017 due to strategic purposes. The game developed by Bethesda was originally expected on Spring of 2016 changes have been made.

YouTube user Matty Schoeder, who witnessed the E3 conference in June, noticed something different in the game presentation which hinted a possible delay for 'Dishonored 2.'

Crossmap noted the most obvious sign is when the "Spring" on "Spring 2016" was removed from the content of the presentation. The considers that the game may come out by the end of 2016 or early 2017.

Regarding the reason for the delay, Parent Herald believe that Bethesda allowed this because there are many new game titles that will arrive on the Spring which may steal the spotlight on Bethesda. The report also states that the delay on the release date may allow the developers to further enhance the game before bringing it out in the open.

Whatever reason lies behind it, the said delay for "Dishonored 2" must be something that will give Bethesda more flexibility and time for the game. However, some are still not convinced that Bethesda is improving the game since there was only one trailer released as of the moment.

Meanwhile, "Dishonored 2 versions on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are being offered for $20.00 by retailer Target, said Geek Snack. The retailer has known to honor similar pre-orders in the past so this a pretty good deal die-hard fans of the series.

Corvo Attano is the star of the game who will travel together with Empress Emily Kaldwin throughout the city of Karnaca. In Dishonored 2, the users can control both Corvo and the Empress along with their special abilities, weapons, and gadgets.

Some fans still see the delay as a strategic angle for Arkane Studios to polish the game. With that in mind, many have high expectations on 'Dishonored 2' when released in 2017.
