Grishin Robotics, a multinational investment firm, provided a US$300,000 investment to NanoSatisfi. The financier is a global investment company that places investments on the personal robotics industry.

NanoSatisfi recently received a US$100,000 funding from 700 different online backers in about a month via crowd funding campaigner KickStarter.

The California-based company provides user-programmable in-orbit nanosatellite usage for anyone who is interested. Their service costs US$250 for every week of usage.

The company said that their fundraising campaign was initiated to finance the production of their new nanosatellites, which will be launched into outer space in the upcoming months.

"We are excited about the nanosatellites market which is gradually becoming a more significant part of the robotics revolution. The same trends are transforming both industries. The price and barriers to entry, which are necessary to surmount in order to work with 'robots in space', are becoming lower every day," explained Dmitry Grishin, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Maul.Ru Group.
