As promised, Samsung Electronics will be rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow on its handsets. Recently, there was a roadmap that has been leaked online, revealing the schedule of the Android M release on Samsung flagship and pioneer models.

According to Realty Today, Samsung Electronics is lucky enough as it will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow really soon. The first lucky handsets to receive the Android Marshmallow will be the latest flagship phones and other devices, such as Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Christian Today reported that there have been new developments regarding the upcoming Android Marshmallow update for Samsung devices. Based on the newest roadmap, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will now have its update in January instead of next month while the Galaxy Note 5 will still be updated in December.

Apart from the newest schedule leak, the December schedule for the Galaxy Note 5 is speculated to be already set. This was based on most recent leaks of the Touchwiz interface on the Galaxy Note 5 already running Android 6.0.

Furthermore, the newest Samsung schedule already shows three phases of Android 6.0 updates for company devices. On previous reports, only two phases of the update were revealed, and it was stated that Samsung is still thinking which devices will be updated to Marshmallow.

The newest devices that were added to the Android 6.0 update include some of the Galaxy Tab iterations, such as the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Moreover, other Samsung Tablets are still waiting for approval.

In addition, Android Geeks stated that the new roadmap also confirms that Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 will not be updated to the latest Android version. However, it is still possible for Samsung to do certain changes to its Marshmallow update rollout plan, just like the new updated roadmap.

Since none of this information was confirmed by Samsung yet, users of the above mentioned devices still have to wait for further information that might surface soon. Moreover, other handsets that were not mention might still have the chance to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update as the roadmap may hopefully be updated again.
