GTA 6 has been well-awaited for quite a time, especially after such a successful fifth installment of GTA 5 and the expansions that came with it thereof. Given that GTA 5 was launched a number of years back, fans have inevitably hungered for a continuity and a new series to take on. Rockstar Games may just have ideas on what the next installment may be, which perhaps can be officially clichéd as "it's about time".

According to Neurogadget, GTA 6 is surely one to anticipate greatly, and since the community has filled the web with hoax and mere speculations, concrete sources and news were rather hard to rely on. Rockstar Games has taken the liberty of pushing something out to the public to hold on to-such as the possibility of a female character in the roster.

Delivered by Christian Post, GTA 6 was speculated on being the one title in the series that can actually be the trendsetter of the franchise to have a female lead. Last 2013, Dan House of Rockstar Games was quoted, "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about. It didn't feel natural for this game but definitely for the right game in the future - with the right themes, it could be fantastic."

As noted by Latin Post, GTA 6 will not only have a female character, but will also have an iconic personality or personalities to anticipate, such as Hollywood superstars Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling. This is still an uncertainty but leaks and speculations have led to it-and whether it will or will not be the case, the female characters casting is one move that Rockstar Games has wanted to do for quite some time. Moreover, the map that GTA 6 was rumored to be held in was basically the entirety of the United States, in a consistent, fluid manner that will take the story further.

GTA 6 still has no definite release date but 2019 may be the earliest that can be held for the time being. Stay tuned for further updates on Rockstar Games' awaited expansion.
