Cvent Inc is a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform. The company offers software solutions to event planners for online event registration. Other solutions offered were for venue selection, event management, mobile apps for events and email marketing as well as web surveys to its clients.

Today, Cvent Inc announced filing a registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission for its initial public offering. The IPO offered the common stock of the company. However, the proposed IPO did not disclose the number of shares to be sold neither the price range for the offer. Cvent planned to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CVT.

Goldman Sachs & Co and Morgan Stanley & Co LLC were appointed to be joint running managers for the IPO. Stifel, Nicolaus & Company Inc along with Pacific Crest and Needham & Company were the co-managers for the initial public offering.
