Scenes from 'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 8 has changed the way fans and fanatics viewed this series. The scenes that were rendered regarding the villains' insurgence and the nightmare for those residing in Gotham change the plotline to a different level.

It was noted in 'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 8 that the scenes began with dreams and ended with nightmares. A recap from Entertainment Weekly showed, "As Barbara dreams of her almost-wedding to Gordon, Bruce dreams of finally getting the answer to who killed his parents." The same article added, "Theo dreams of his revenge plan finally coming to fruition. Of course, the end dashes all these dreams."

Meanwhile, the same post recapped about, "Theo and his realization of just how big a problem Gordon could be to his plan, especially regarding Bruce, so he knows it's time to get Gordon distracted while he attempts to finally manipulate Bruce into turning over Wayne Enterprises."

The title of 'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 8 is, "Tonight's the Night" and this clearly implied the crazy world of Bruce Wayne and Gordon's unruly character. TV.com shared that during the uprising, "Gordon didn't have much to go on other than his own gut and some corroborating testimonies from some known criminals."

As all dreams ended in a nightmare, the upcoming episodes of 'Gotham' Season 2 as teased by Comic Book will take a different direction. The episode titled, "Rise of the Villains: A Bitter Pill to Swallow" revealed, "Gordon and Barnes will continue cleaning up Gotham, and Gordon comes face-to-face with one of the city's most dangerous hitmen, Eduardo Flamingo (guest star Raul Castillo)."

The same post teases about Nygma and Penguin cross paths again, and Bruce pressures Galavan into handing over the name of his parents' murderer.

As 'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 8 closed the episode with much mystery and desires, the upcoming episode 9 is expected to shed light to the queries and desires of each character.
