Former founders of Houston based Situs, Martin Bronstein and Ralph Howard announced the formation of BHW, a commercial real estate investment firm.

Bronstein and Howard are remembered from previous ventures such as Situs. The duo have taken and focus on due diligence and underwriting along with their extensive operating experience and adapted it to a new commercial real estate investment model.

Situs was founded in the mid 1980's by Martin Bronstein and Ralph Howard. The company started as a local Houston-based brokerage company. The partners were able make Situs as one of the world's leading commercial real estate consultancies. They provided asset management, primary and special servicing, due diligence, and brokerage services to many investment banks, numerous insurance companies, for pension funds and opportunity funds, to the FDIC, and other acquirers of commercial real estate.

Martin Bronstein served as the Chairman of the Board and Ralph Howard served as the CEO.

In 2011, Situs was sold to the rated special servicer sponsored by Ranieri Partners, Helios AMC.
