ECI Partners, among the most successful private equity groups based in the United Kingdom, exited CliniSys. Montagu Pravate Equity acquired the information and technology company. CliniSys' is a major player in the healthcare IT industry.

The exit of ECI Partners saw an exit worth more than double of its initial investment to CliniSys. The healthcare IT firm is based in Germany, France, Belgium and Spain. They have been providing software solutions to laboratories in the Euro zone. Their systems are being used to help clients in delivering test results to constituents in the healthcare delivery chain. Their services are being utilized in over 2,000 labs within the region, with over 22,000 concurrent users in 34 countries.

ClinSys predicts that its revenue for this year will hit GBP34 million. This is a 50% increase since the backing of ECI Partners.
