The latest news from Activision surrounding the upcoming release of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 might not come as something good for PS3, Xbox 360 gamers as the game's season pass and the bonus map, 'The Giant', will be exclusive for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

According to Express Co. UK, the four DLC packs planned for Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will include re-imagined maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series. The packs will also feature chapters for New Zombies mode to be released in 2016 together with the the pre-order Zombies bonus map called 'The Giant'.

Activision gave a glimpse of what is coming and revealed, "Set in a World War II-era research facility featuring the weapon-upgrading Pack-a-Punch Machine, re-live the chaos of Treyarch's classic "Der Riese" Zombies map, picking up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off."

Fans can also check out the 'The Giant' Zombies bonus map gameplay trailer on YouTube.

The downside, however, is that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Season Pass and The Giant Zombies bonus map will not be available on Xbox 360 and this is confirmed the Xbox Store. It is also anticipated that same is the case for PS3. Retailer GameStop is claimed to offer Xbox One and PS4 Season Pass at the moment.

Other than the season pass, the last-gen consoles will not get campaign mode and new paint shop features of the game, although, it is yet to be confirmed if each of the Call of duty Black Ops 3 Zombies chapters will be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 fans.

Activision announced that the despite the absence of tons of features, the last-gen consoles will be getting the all-new Shadows of Evil zombie mode. The publisher's post reads: "Black Ops 3 players on PS3 and Xbox 360 will also have a chance to immerse themselves in the all-new Zombies mode, called "Shadows of Evil," which features a 1940's film-noir inspired adventure that takes the signature Black Ops Zombies gameplay to a new level."

On a lighter note, Activision collaborated with fast food chain Carl's Jr. for a Call of Duty Black Ops 3 promotional campaign featuring model Charlotte McKinney, reports PlayStation Lifestyle. The ad encourages fans to buy an Ultimate Care Package which contains a Tex Mex Bacon Thickburger, fries, and a drink or a large Call of Duty Black Ops 3 cup to grab a chance to win prizes such as in-game weapons, a copy of the game, headsets, and the grand trip to Treyarch's studio.

Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is the newest main title to the game franchise and set to hit Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
