LG Nexus 5X is one of the first handsets to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Now the Korean tech giant together with the carriers, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless are working with each other to bring the newest update to LG G Flex 2, LG G4, LG G3 and LG G Stylo.

According to Yibada, LG G4 users in Poland will be the first to obtain the Android Marshmallow. As of the moment, there is no available information yet on when LG G4 owners in other countries will get the Android 6.0 M update. There are reports saying that the Korean electronics company is using Poland as a testing ground and if it goes well, other LG G4 handsets may receive the update after. Other LG G4 devices may acquire the Android M update in January or February next year.

Android Origin added that aside from LG G4 owners in Poland, the G4 users in South Korea will be one of the first to experience the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The roll out will be followed gradually by other huge markets like Europe, Asia and America.

Moreover, Gospel Herald added that as for the other carriers, such as Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint, most of the LG G4 handset is currently on Android Lollipop version 5.1.  Although the latest of the Lollipop series is 5.1.1, it is unlikely that any of these carriers will roll out 5.1.1 for the G4, and it will skip the Android 6.0.  Furthermore, almost all of the current updates to the operating system on LG were made to combat the Stagefright software bugs found on the previous versions of Android.

T-Mobile stated that the LG G3 and G Stylo are also bound to receive the Android M update during its first wave.  The update would arrive as soon as November, but this could apply to the newer LG phones that include the current flagship G4 and G Flex 2.

LG is yet to release an official list of devices to get the upgrade. For the remaining LG devices that was not mentioned above, users are hopeful that the Android Marshmallo update will also reach their units soon.
