The Xperia Z3 is one of the best smartphones created by Sony. In fact, it received a lot of good feedback and reviews. It is a slim and waterproof phone engineered with great specifications such as a Snapdragon 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Quad-core processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It also has 3 GB of RAM with 16 GB flash storage and is expandable up to 128 GB through a microSD card slot as well as SDXC-supported. A Triluminos display for mobile is used on its 5.2-inch full HD display with X-Reality technology for mobile picture engine.

It has been a while since Sony announced they were having a project on a new Android concept, ubergizmo said. Unfortunately, this concept is only limited to 500 testers. It is therefore really not a surprise to discover that someone has managed to repackage Sony's Android concept into a ROM and release it on forums where interested users can go ahead and try to flash it on their own devices.

As Techtrickz reported, Sony is responsible for the creation and release of the test version of the Android Concept ROM which is basically restricted for Xperia Z3 users living in Sweden. It was based on the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 but there have been notable differences between the original software and the concept ROM.

According to users who are fortunate to install the OS, the ROM is very fast and stable and is similar to the stock Android 5.1.1 packed with some of Sony and Google applications. However, the ROM misses the Stamina mode which is actually one of the best feature of Sony devices. Themes support, double tap to wake and screen recording are other features that were affected.

Android Authority further explained that if you really want to explore this new firmware, you have to take certain precautions, including backing up your data else it will surely be lost while installing the ROM.

This Concept ROM ,as what the Android Origin has stated, is exclusive for Z3 users and is not compatible with the Z3 Compact.
