Michael Fasssbender is Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin. A new trailer has been released for the film showing backstage events prior to the launching of three iconic products from Apple.

Nikolaj Arcel was confirmed to direct the first upcoming big screen adaptation of Stephen King's book series, The Dark Tower. A January 13, 2017 release date has also been scheduled for the film which is set to be produced by Ron Howard along with Erica Higgins and Brian Grazer

Rumors on the cancellation of The Last of Us 2 have been making the rounds online but Uncharted game developer Naughty Dog has recently dropped an indirect confirmation that the sequel is in fact in development.

‘Ouija 2’ will feature Elizabeth Reaser of ‘Twilight’ fame to star alongside Annalise Basso. No further details have been announced regarding Reaser’s character but she is speculated to play Basso’s mother. Director Mike Flanagan’s film is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2016.

‘Pacific Rim 2’ director Guillermo del Toro debunks rumors of his project’s cancellation. He recently confirmed that the sequel will push through and that it is still in the works. He did, however, admit that production will be delayed and its planned release date will be pushed back.

‘Jack Reacher 2’ may feature newcomers Danika Yarosh and Aldis Hodge to star alongside Tom Cruise. The latter plays the titular character in the action series adapted from author Lee Child’s novels. Yarosh is speculated to play Cruise’s daughter in the sequel.

‘Black Mass’ leading man Johnny Depp gets the Oscar buzz after his latest performance as the infamous Boston gangster Whitey Bulger. The biopic is said to be one of his best works yet. Although he reached out to the real Bulger, he was ultimately declined from doing so.

‘The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist’ will begin production later this month in Los Angeles under the direction of returning filmmaker James Wan. Simon McBurney and Frances O’Connor have recently been cast to star alongside leading actors Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.

A ‘Black Panther’ Easter egg was uncovered by fans from a seemingly innocuous scene in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. It showed the connections between the characters Ulysses Klaue, T’Chaka and T’Challa. It also revealed the relationship between the stories in ‘Avengers’ and the upcoming standalone film for Marvel’s first black superhero.
