"The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers for October 20-23 will focus on Ridge and Caroline's attempts to keep Caroline's pregnancy a secret. The week's episodes will also reveal a snag in Rick and Maya's plans for Nicole to be their surrogate with the surprise move of Maya and Nicole's parents to LA.

According to Soap Opera Story, Brooke is surprised when she accidentally hears about Caroline's pregnancy. She of course knows about Ridge's vasectomy and instantly suspects that he is not the baby's father.

Ridge will come up with an elaborate lie to prevent Brooke from knowing the truth. Soaps She Knows reveals that he will tell Brooke that his vasectomy is reversible and that he could in fact get a woman pregnant. It is doubtful if Brooke buys his story or if she will remain suspicious that Caroline is carrying another man's baby.

Meanwhile, Maya and Nicole are in for a surprise after their parents, Julius and Vivienne, decide to pay them a visit.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" recap for October 19 relates that Ivy and Steffy talked things over after Liam stopped Ivy's uncomfortable pictorial and told them to immediately stop their rivalry. He further advised them to be the best versions of themselves.

Caroline suffered from morning sickness at work in front of Pam and Charlie. The two told Liam of their suspicion. He then suggested to Caroline to take a pregnancy test as it would be fun. She told Liam that she did not need to take a pregnancy test which made him asked her directly if she was pregnant.

Tuesday October 20

Steffy and Ivy try to make peace with each other after Liam tells them to put their differences aside in the meantime. Brooke overhears about Caroline's pregnancy and is surprised because she knows about Ridge's infertility.

Wednesday October 21

Ridge tells Brooke a lie about his vasectomy in order to protect Caroline's secret. Meanwhile, Wyatt finds himself in an embarrassing situation  that will make him understand Ivy's views on recent events reveals Soap Central.

Thursday October 22

A secret that can rip apart a family is exposed. Nicole and Zende become closer than ever.

Friday October 23

Zende has a long talk with Carter about the situation with Nicole. Julius and Vivienne Avant move to Los Angeles to be closer to their daughters.
