Idera, a server management solutions provider from Houston, Texas, announced today that it has hired Randy Jacops to fill the company's top exec spot. Stephens' new role as chief executive officer came with the hiring of Josh Stephens as Idera's vice president of product strategy.

Jacops commented on his new position, saying "I look forward to continuing Idera's tradition of market-leading, customer-focused solutions."

"The Idera team has a long history of delivering award-winning, innovative products to technology professionals and we will continue doing so. We will also increase product investment to secure our competitive advantage and extend customer relationships by focusing relentlessly on product quality and customer success," he explained further.

Jacops most recent work was his advising of private equity and venture capital firms on merger and acquisitions targets. He also worked as a partner at Valhalla Partners, and served as the chief executive officer and president of Versata Enterprises.

His expertise in product strategy, systems and software engineering, and network management enabled him to last almost 20 years in the crossroads of the finance and technology sector.
