Apple will reportedly release an iMac this year focusing on upgrading its graphics card and display. The 2015 iMac is expected to launch as early as October 13 and be widely available to the public on November.

Apple continues to update its line of desktops with small, regular upgrades. This time, the company is expected to launch a new iMac with 21.5" screen and 4K display, reported 9to5Mac. The new iMac will likely launch this week according to "multiple, reliable sources" cited in the report.

The 2015 iMac will reportedly have a display resolution of 4,096 x 2,304 pixels. Aside from that, it is also believed that Apple's new iMac will have boosted graphics cards. The combination of a sharp display and boosted performance could make the iMac an ideal device for graphics-intensive tasks like gaming and video or photo editing.

Like the newly-released iPhones and iPads, the 2015 iMac will also likely launch with the latest OS X El Capitan on board. It will probably sport the same design as its non-4K predecessor since its upgrades focused more on internal specs. A new Magic Mouse 2 with Force Touch and a Bluetooth Keyboard with boosted battery are rumored to be in the making and could come bundled with the new iMac.

CNET said that Microsoft has just released the Surface Book, a laptop-tablet hybrid that Microsoft claims to be twice as fast as the Macbook Pro, in a New York event. It was reported that Microsoft is following Apple's footsteps in creating its own hardware and software. Recently, the company is offering more competitive products in the market with continued innovation on its devices.

Latin Post's report stated that the 2015 iMac is expected to launch this week. It will reportedly be priced higher than the non-4K versions.

Apple's 2015 iMac is expected to have faster graphics cards and 4K display. The 2015 iMac could be released on October 13 and may be widely available the following month.
