Gavin Rossdale has walked the red carpet and looked quite the lonely figure - his first after the announced split with ex-wife and music icon Gwen Stefani.

Gavin Rossdale braved the red carpet alone after the said split from Gwen Stefani, The Daily Mail UK shared. The Brush lead singer went solo during the Smile Gala held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, California last Friday, October 2, 2015. Gwen Stefani celebrated her 46th birthday on the same day as well.

Gavin Rossdale looked pale on the occasion he attended. The lead singer went minimal with black skinny jeans, jacket and white long-sleeved top.

The ex-couple recently decided to end their almost 13 years of marriage due to differences they cannot seem to reconcile. The divorce process is still ongoing and legal aspects are being tackled. Life & Style Magazine reported that Gavin Rossdale is demanding millions which could cost more than half of Gwen Stefani's fortune. Apparently, the two did not sign a prenup agreement, thus Gavin was able to make this demand.

The multi-million dollar demand from The Bush lead singer caused a stir on his ex-wife's part. Everything seems to be falling apart for the married couple with their three children. Money issues are getting in the way and Gavin Rossdale is not backing down from this battle, The Inquisitr cited.

Amidst all these legal issues between Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, it seems that the latter is trying to move on with his life in a normal state. Furthermore, attending events and indulging in his music are still part of his ways on coping with his divorce.
