Chris Brown's lengthy custody battle over his one-year-old daughter with Nia Guzman has finally come to an end. After months of stressful court hearings and numerous heated confrontations with his 'baby mama,' Chris has won joint custody for his daughter and even gets to change her surname to Brown.

In a report from Daily Mail UK, R&B singer Chris Brown is over the moon after winning joint custody over his one-year-old daughter. Brown and baby mama Nia Guzman have been fighting over the case for months with Guzman demanding thousands of dollars. However, after recently attending a court hearing to hear the final verdict, both parties walked away happy.

According to Hello Magazine, sources closely connected to the case provided information on the agreement of the two parents and the judge's verdict. Apparently after winning joint custody of his daughter, Chris Brown agreed to pay Nia $2,500 a month and $15,000 in back support.

The famous singer will also provide for Royalty's schooling, medical bills, insurance, and nannies. However, despite the large amount of money Brown will be pouring out, the 'Breezy' star was granted 12 days a month to spend time with Royalty without supervision as well as approval to legally change Royalty's last name to Brown.

Although TMZ reported that the singer was required to present a drug test upon entering the court, the result came back as positive to marijuana and codeine. However, the 26-year-old was able to provide documentation proving his prescription for the two drugs.

After the hearing, Chris Brown took to Twitter to update his fans on the outcome stating, "Court went great today. Glad this all worked out." Nia also took to Twitter to thank her legal team, saying she was very pleased with the outcome.

Now that the battle is over, Chris Brown can peacefully sleep at night knowing his daughter is legally his. With the name change and the agreements that were settled, Chris will be able to spend much more time with his little girl without having to worry about Nia Guzman interfering.
