Kevin Klausmeyer joined Teakwood Capital as executive partner t oday.Klausmeyer is the former Chief Executive Officer of The Planet for both PentaSafe Security, and RLX Technologies. He comes with an extensive background the IT, software and technology industry both in private and public.

Klasumeyer oversaw several start-ups and developed them to Fortune 1000 institutions. He is expected to leverage his experience to provide tactical counsel to the company, according to a Teakwood Capital press release.

He currently holds positions in several boards, such as that of Sourcefire, a public security software developer, SaaS provider of salesforce and marketing solutions provider CallidusCloud, and back-up and recovery developer PHD Virtual. He also holds position in the board of Tel-Aviv-based solutions company Neebula. Other companies where Klausmeyer served were Quest Software, The Planetm RLX Technologies, PentaSafe Security Technologies, and BMC Software.

The new partner is heading Teakwood Capital's expansion to the Houston market.

Klausmeyer graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Accounting.
