A few years back, 3D printing was fast becoming an alternative option for a more convenient and efficient manufacturing process. Now, the global 3D printing market is already expected to increase to $20.2 billion come 2019. This is based on the 44% annual growth from 2014. One of its emerging common uses is among kids' products.

CloudDDM CEO Mitch Free said the 3D printing industry is experiencing a very high growth and a significant transition as industrial firms look at this technology as actual manufacturing process, which means it could possibly be part of the new office essentials.

According to Channel Biz, XYZprinting claims it accounted for almost 22 percent of all 3D printer shipments during the first half of this year, making it the largest 3D printer vendor in the globe.
