Selena Gomez recently sported an irresistibly sexy black bathing suit in Miami. The actress who rose from the ocea gave a sneak peak of her new thigh tattoo as well.

According to Hollywood Life, the pop singer was photographed swimming in the ocean in Miami Beach last Saturday. The 23-year old-performer looked seemingly fit in a high-cut black one-piece swimsuit. While taking a dip, she also also sported her a new spiritual tattoo, located on her left upper thigh with an Om symbol which is a sacred Hindu symbol.

It's no surprise that the songstress loves putting meaningful symbols on her skin. SelGo had already showed off a couple of her other body inks, including a musical note on her wrist, saying "Love Yourself First" written in Arabic, another tattoo with the number 76 in roman numerals just below her ear and on her left hip, a tattoo stating "God Who Strengthens Me".

Her fans were very thrilled that the "The Come and Get It" singer appears to be having some well-deserved time following her busy schedule for the few months of promoting her latest album. The singer is obviously flaunting her hot body on the beach, which makes sense, given that her self-confidence just recently heightened up.

"I feel very empowered and confident in where I am," she told Ryan Seacrest on his show On Air with Ryan Seacrest via US Weekly. "I think it took me a long while to get there because the past year was so interesting because I've never been body-shamed before. I dealt with a whole other set of issues that were really interesting. I did gain weight, but I don't care," Beiber's ex revealed.

After facing body shamers in April who criticized her because of her weight gain, Gomez responded on her Instagram, posting another sexy swimsuit photo. "I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove," she captioned the snapshot.

But when ET Online, chatted with the singer earlier this month at New York Fashion Week, she opened up that all the criticism did in fact affected her at some point. "I actually had never experienced it before," Gomez admitted. "I couldn't even imagine what my fans or kids go through at school -- it's just so difficult and awful."

However, these days, the songstress is definitely slamming all of her critics and haters with her renewed self- esteem. Her fans reportedly look up to her even more especially with her recent bathing suit appearance. She is proving to everybody that it's okay to gain some weight, as long as you're still confident about yourself.
