Portfolio company Northstar Travel Media announced its acquisition of Your Travel Insider, a web-based publisher of newsletters Luxury Cruise News, Your Travel Insider, and Your Travel Insider - Travel Tools. No figures on the deal were disclosed. Northstar Travel Media is a business-to-business information enterprise serving the travel industry.

YTI has a total audience of over 1 million travelers. The company proves each of them with advice, deals and special offers, and iteneraries.

Your Travel Insider was founded in 2003 by Roy Weiss to target the portion of the market of travel enthusiasts. Weiss is a prominent name in the database and behavioral marketing community.

YTI's Weiss will be under Bob Sullivan, Executive Vice-President of Northstar Travel Media, LLC.
