AGC Aerospace & Defense, a company that supplies commercial and military tech and services from Oklahoma, announced on Friday that Robert J. Khoury has joined the board of directors of Composites & Aerostructures, an aircraft components manufacturer.

AGC Composites & Aerostructures is owed by Acorn Growth Companies and The Edgewater Funds.

The new member of the board said, "This appointment is an exciting opportunity to share my experiences with such a visionary and entrepreneurial team."

Khoury previously held the position of President, Director, Vice-Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer of B/E Aerospace Inc, Under his management, B/E gained $3 million in revenues with only one product in the market.

"Robert is a globally recognized leader in the aerospace and defense industries," stated AGC's Managing Partner Jeff Davis. "His experience will be a great asset as we continue seek innovative ways to accelerate the growth of our composites and aerostructures platform.
