Frontier Development's Elite: Dangerous has been on a great roll for the past number of months. After a rock-solid start for the developer, many new updates are already aboard and will presumably come forth within the game's future.

According to PCGamesN, Elite: Dangerous does not plan to step on the brake just yet. For the previous months, there were a number of great updates that made the title even more interesting as it already has been. One of the notable feats include the Powerplay Update-as witnessed during the early parts of 2015 summer.

As delivered by Engadget, Elite: Dangerous is bound to release the full console version on October 6th, 2015. Since the release of Elite: Dangerous, fans have awaited the fuller update of the game as a whole, and now with an update that soon to come, gamers are sure to get the true gaming experience they've been looking for. The Close Quarters Combat patch is said to tackle on a new player-versus-player mode, which is somewhat different from that of the authentic Elite: Dangerous feel.

Frontier Developments Product Manager Ben Dowie stated that players of Elite: Dangerous still have a lot to look forward to, which was recently delivered by I Digital Times. Dowie was quoted saying, "We're going to be taking people down to the planet, in real time. Eventually, you'll find yourself close and the gravitational pull of the planet will start to shift the flight model. So the feeling of the craft, and how you have to control it, will suddenly start to change."

Dowie added that Elite: Dangerous will really have a sentient approach in terms of weight and gravity. Especially when it comes to driving the in-game recon vehicles, and better than that, the establishing promise of feeling like a real space commander is one of their strong points.

Successful as it is, Elite: Dangerous is still a long way from perfect. A new expansion entitled Elite Dangerous: Horizons is sure to further improve the existing standing success of the franchise, and perhaps a handful more others in the near future.
