Nocibe, a French perfume and cosmetic retailer, received a lot of interested parties. This includes interest from Douglas Holding, a German perfume retailer and from French private equity company, LBO France. The latter is in alliance with Chinese corporation Fosun. The report was according to the French daily paper, Le Figaro.

According to the same paper, the deadline for the firm offers was pushed to the end of June. The seller is the British private equity firm Charterhouse.

The spokesperson from LBO France refused to give comments regarding said report.

Le Figaro stated in its report that if successful, the bid by Douglas Holding would make Nocibe the second largest perfume chain in France. It would be one notch behind Sephora and ahead of Marionnaud.

LBO France and Fosun have not yet arrived agreements but continues to study the possibility of having Nocibe in China as reported by the paper.
