BrightEdge receives $42.8 million funding

A $42.8 million worth of funding was received by BrightEdge, led by Insight Venture Partners. Insight Venture Partners was joined by Intel Capital, Battery Ventures, Altos Ventures and Illuminate Ventures.

The investment endorses the company's vision to modernize, measure, and understand the advantage of marketing strategies across new media.

In this new world of marketing with the aid of social media it dramatically boost exposure to a quantum scale. Marketers should be more like scientist than artist to approach this. 

"Marketing today doesn't have a go-to platform like IT, finance, and HR. That's changing and BrightEdge is front and center as a company with a massive value proposition," said a representative from Insight Venture Partners, named Brad Twohig.

BrightEdge's $3 platform harnesses big data analytics. This analytics helps businesses better understand the impact of digital media content on its revenue. It could highly assist in attracting more customers from the billions of searches each day.
