A true to life story about a man who died in an accident and recovered 90 minutes later was adapted into a movie. Based on an amazing life story, the movie adaptation is written and directed by Michael Polish.

The rendition of the movie is based on the New York Times best-selling journal of Don Piper. Don Piper is a Texas Baptist minister who met a car accident in 1989. Due to the severe injuries he endured, he was declared dead and then came back to life 90 minutes later. He claimed that he had seen his departed grandfather welcoming him in Heaven.

In the movie, Don Piper will be role-played by Hayden Christensen, according to E! News, who plays a role in Star Wars Episodes II and III, together with Kate Bosworth who will be featured as his wife. "The whole experience was a pretty intense one," Christensen told E! News. "Just telling Don's story and everything that his family went through. It was an emotional journey."

In addition to the crew, the movie stars Hayden Christiansen, Kate Bosworth, Dwight Yoakam, and Fred Thompson. Christian singer Michael W. Smith composed the movie's musical score.

For the audiences, the proposition alone is sufficient for a draw. MyAJC reported that the movie is not a traditionally structured movie but more like a series of short scenes about Don's detailed journey. However, hospital bed scenes are likely to have more scenes and just a little of heaven.

According to Polish and the Pipers and the lead actors in an article on The Atlantic, the movie isn't for the religious devouts simply because, it wasn't just intended for Christians. The religion does not count. Beyond that, the film struggled to make a human story out of a faith story.

As far as the story goes, the film's goal is remarkable. Though faith-themed films are making its way to success, it's very phenomenal for these kinds of movies to produce high quality movies and an inspiring, lively, graphic atmosphere. It's certainly a noteworthy story about the persistence of the human faith, and the people can learn from the lessons based on the death and life experience of the author.

Absolutely, most of the scenes can be seen as heart-breaking but when they are not taken wholeheartedly, the story loses all of its purpose. The movie will be out on September 11, 2015.
