After 11 years, Pixar and Disney have finally announced the development of a sequel film for "The Incredibles" in 2014.But, the studio kept silent in any information and update about the film since then. However, Director Brad Bird has revealed before that he planned a great story ready for filming.

An article on io9 cited possible plots for the movie. According to them, the movie could either start where it left off from the first film and talk about the life struggles of a superhero family or they could just leap the years they lost and start to what will happen after 5 to 25 years.

So if Pixar decides to pick off the ending of the first story, it would be a lot easier simply because, they can keep the characters in the film. But, this could be somewhat difficult too. Imagine how the three kids, Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack, remain kids and not to mention that Jack-Jack is still a baby. On the second note, Pixar could focus on the grown up life of the three siblings as they jumped through time.

Movienewsguide, however, reported that the producer has decided to age the kids for years in order to make it different from any other typical superhero movies. Thus, "The Incredibles 2" will focus on the teenage life of the kids saving the world and accomplishing school works at the same time.

The main characters from the first film will reprise their roles. Crossmap stated that Jack-Jack, the youngest sibling, could be the villain in the upcoming film. Being strongest and the most powerful among the family, Jack-Jack could not control his powers and abilities leading to chaos.

During the D23 Expo, Pixar/Disney released a "The Incredibles 2" movie poster without printed information yet. In any case, Brad Bird admitted that he is still writing the draft.

This would be the first time Pixar struggled with ageing characters in a sequel. So, the challenge here would be how they will create a sequel story.
