Polyphony Digital might be gearing up for some major development in its garage for "Gran Turismo 7" as it suddenly hires a team of people.  Many had picked up this hint from an employment opportunities ad placed by the studio on its website.  Perhaps the team is gassing up for a release before 2017.

The studio had recently posted a jobs ad to fill up 13 new positions which include AI engineer, graphics engineer, game development engineers, and more, according to Dual Shockers.  Although the aspirants would have to be adept on PS4, PC, and mobile, that does not automatically imply that "Gran Turismo 7" will also come on those platforms, besides PS4 of course.  Most of Polyphony's development staff has PCs in their workstations; while it is required to have a mobile development group which would focus on the upcoming companion app.

Attack of the Fan Boy also mentioned about this job post from Polyphony Digital.  These vacancies indicate what the developer is really planning and aiming for "Gran Turismo 7".  Regarding the companion app, this might come out for iOS and Android devices.  It will be exciting to see how this app will be employed in connection with the game itself.

With the company hiring for AI engineers, Polyphony might be planning to develop a more human-like AI that deeply detects ever changing conditions and tracks, as reported in Gaming Bolt.  The studio would seem to accentuate on realism, as it's also looking for sound engineers - pushing "Gran Turismo 7" to "simulate the real world" and "audio is no exception."

Fans are hoping that these developments would lead to Polyphony's announcement of "Gran Turismo 7"'s release.  There are events that are coming up, such as the Tokyo Game Show in September, Paris Games Week in October-November, and the Playstation Experience in December.  The "Gran Turismo" franchise is quite popular both in Japan and in Europe, thus, making the launch in one of those places not impossible.

In previous interviews with Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi, he was asked about the rumors regarding "GT 7"'s release in 2017; and he said directly that the game would be rolled out before that year, as he does not want for people to wait too long before the racing game come out.
