A possible corporation is said to take part between Foxconn Technology Group and mobile phone retailer Erajaya Swasembada (ERAA). The Indonesian company previously received an award as one of the country's best in the trading and services sector. If the deal pushes through, top of the line products and services are said to be offered as Foxconn is also known as a leading manufacturing company in Taiwan. The deal is said to take place in Indonesia state Simon Hsing, spokesman for Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd.

The decision is still left unknown until further advice is made. Erajaya is said to propose access to retail and distribution channels to Foxconn once the deal is finalized. On the other hand, Foxconn wants to develop several products together with its possible local partner, Erajaya, to be able to cater to the Indonesian market. The company is still in discussion with the government of Indonesia for a possible investment.
