Doctor Strange is in the works, and Kevin Feige revealed that it will be as 'weird' as the other films they've done in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Meanwhile, aside from Chiwetel Ejiofor's Baron Mordo, new reports suggest that another villain might be fighting against the mystical hero.

Kevin Feige spoke in the recent D23 Expo held in Anaheim, California to give Marvel fans a hint at what to expect in the upcoming Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Vanity Fair, Feige revealed that fans can expect the upcoming movie to be "as weird as anything we've ever done".

Moreover, Benedict Cumberbatch gave a more detailed description through  a video  since he was unable to personally attend the event given his theater actor responsibilities in Hamlet which was out in London at the time.

"You're going to get girls, cars, explosions, and astral projections into multiple universes. The usual fare." Cumberbatch revealed. According to International Business Times, it was also revealed that Doctor Strange's costume in the film will bear huge resemblance to his costume in the comics, but will reportedly be slightly darker.

Principal photography is  expected to begin in November with Cumberbatch set to play the titular character, Tinda Swinton as his mentor, The Ancient One, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as his nemesis, Baron Mordo.

Meanwhile, according to a report by Variety, Baron Mordo might not be the only villain to appear  in the upcoming film as 'Hannibal' actor Mads Mikkelsen is reportedly being considered for a  currently undisclosed villain role.

No offer has been delivered to the actor yet, but it will reportedly be sent soon. According to the report, Marvel has long considered having the actor and even courted him for the role of Malekith in Thor: The Dark World. However evetually, the role went to Christopher Eccleston.

Aside from Mikkelsen, Rachel McAdams was also reported to be in talks for an unspecified role in the film but the actress has not confirmed her involvement in the film yet. Doctor Strange  will be directed by Scott Derrickson and is set to be released in  November 04, 2016.
