iZombie Season 2 jumps start on October 6 with a break-up after Liv ( Rose Mclver) turned Major (Robert Buckley) into a zombie to save his life. Major, however, detests zombies so much that made him hate Liv's action. Liv, on the other hand, finds comfort after the break-up from her old friend Peyton and her new found friend Bettany.

Reality Today reported that Producer Diane Ruggiero-Wright's revelation that even though the two (Liv and Major) ended, they would still get back to each other for a good reason. Wright warns the viewers however that the getting back together of Liv and Major would take some time because the all-new Major could be the opposite of the gentle and the nice person he was in season 1.

Aside from the main story line of Liv and Major break-up and getting-back, Liv's friendships with an old and a new character is also the highlight of season 2. Her room mate and best friend in season 1, Peyton (Aly Michalla) is definitely coming back.

Aly recalls her character in the "Dead Rat, Live Rat, Brown Rat, White Rat" episode to Entertainment Weekly as reported by Design n Trend as the girl who runs out of the house after knowing that her room mate is a zombie. She then teases that after the running out from the house incident, Peyton now returns, bringing her own story in the table. Aly tells that the viewers are to anticipate also the budding relationship Peyton is having with Ravi (Rahul Kohli) in Season 2.

Another character is entering Liv's life in the name of Bettany but the actress for this character is yet to be revealed. Bettany's contribution to the plot however seems huge as she becomes involve in the case that Clive( Malcolm Goodwin) is investigating. Bettany becomes Liv new and another best friend for this season.

Meanwhile, co-creator of iZombie Rob Thomas teases the audience during the San Diego Comic-con as reported by EnStraz that Liv's first three meals will involve a grumpy old man brain, bro-licious frat boy brain and a Real Housewife of Seattle brain. Such meals of Liv clue us of the deaths in the first three episodes of iZombie Season 2.

The title of the premiere is yet to be released but viewers are now given a good look on Liv's love life, friendship and even meals in the first few episodes of iZombie. iZombie premieres on October 6 to CW.
