Golden Equity Investments Acquires Goosecross Cellars

Golden Equity Investments, a private equity firm based in Golden, Colorado, has acquired the luxury winery that is situated at Yountville, California, Goosecross Cellars. The acquisition deal agreement states the inclusion of the Tudor-style manor, 11 acres land winery together with the vineyard property and the tasting room.

Zepponi & Company was the private financial counselor of Goosecross Cellars' owners. Zepponi & Company is a renowned advisory firm on wine industry mergers and acquisition for most luxurious wine brands and winery. The financial value of the acquisition deal agreement was not divulged.

Christi Coors Ficeli, Manager of Golden Equity Investments and a member of Colorado's Coors brewing family disclosed, "Goosecross' location, vineyard and winery are what initially drew us to this property."

Ms Ficeli further added, "Its direct-to-consumer success and reputation for premium quality wine varietals positions us for ongoing success. Our focus will be to continue the tradition of producing high-quality wines, as well as growing the brand to gain more national recognition. We will continue to promote the current wines and look to grow the portfolio. I look forward to meeting the winery's loyal customers and also intend to invest in the tasting room, the winemaking facility and the estate to enhance the experience got our patrons."
