Even without Apple confirming it, iPhone 6S is hitting stores beginning September 18 according to a French mobile carrier who has leaked the juicy information without it knowing.

A major French mobile carrier has told a tech site dedicated to Apple news that iPhone 6S and iPhone 6s Plus will be made known in public eyes on September 9 and pre-orders will commence on September 11. On September 18, seven days after the pre-order stage, Apple is reported to begin shipping the models.

Although the French carrier source remains anonymous for legal protection, forecast reports tell that one cannot take this leaked information a grain of salt. Previously, the next generation iPhone units have been the center of the rumor mill suggesting that the Cupertino tech giant is indeed coming close to its release date.

Furthermore, this claim of a mobile carrier is backed up by a photo that Apple has been sending out to mobile carriers in France and possibly the rest of the European region. Doubts are high as for the veracity of the report for some because release dates traditionally comes first in the U.S. before hitting the French territory.

However Forbes point out that looking at the history of released of Apple for its iPhones show that the U.S. is never even a notch advanced than France as both countries are releasing on the same dates.

Meanwhile, other reports point out not so distant release date from that of leaked by a French mobile carrier. In most reports, September 9 is most likely the date. This information however has no concrete basis unlike the French source.

In another report, Apple is surely coming close to an iPhone release since Samsung has pre-empted them with their latest killer phones Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 which was announced last August 13.

The iPhone 6S' photo leaks show it will rock a 5.5-inch screen display. Both screens of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are made of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 powered by a Force Touch innovation.
