Renowned private equity investor, NBGI Private Equity announced today the assigning of Tim Kelly, a veteran in the food and beverage industry, as a second member of the board of senior industry advisers.

NBGI Private Equity normally invests in businesses in the United Kingdom with a company assessment between GBP5 million and GBP50 million. In early part of May, NGBI disclosed its plan to expand their focus around major product sectors that have proven to be revenue generating, like food manufacturing, support services and healthcare. For its initial step, NBGI appointed Sandy Young, former Rentokil Initial Senior Executive, as the first appointed Senior Adviser.

The NBGIPE's Senior Advisory group will be responsible for providing important advice and well researched information regarding the industry. In addition, they will oversee business venture activities from proposal to signing of agreement and all in between. They will provide advice but not officially take part in the Board of Individual investee companies.

After the appointment of Tim Kelly, the appointment of a Senior Adviser in the Healthcare division will follow. The details of the appointment will be announced later.
