Google will launch not 1 but 2 flagship devices this year, and the first to hit the stands will be the LG-made Nexus 5. The device will be running on the new Android M and will also feature the pre-installed Android Pay.

Before going any further, the LG Nexus 5 was previously reported to be launched on October 5 and will be loaded with features such as the Android M, which is reported to be called the called the Android Marshmallow, will sport a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p P-OLED HD display, Gadgets NDTV published. On top of that, the device will also feature an 8-core Snapdragon 620 Processor with 3-4GB of RAM and a 32GB and 64GB of internal storage.

Google is also banking on the Nexus 5's Android Pay, which the search giant clarified that this is not an improved version of the Google Wallet. The Android Pay is a new feature that will potentially compete with Apple and Samsung, which offers the same service, IB Times points out.

However, among the three, IB Times continued, Samsung Pay looks like to bag the prize because of its Near Field Communication and Magnetic Secure Transmission features, while Google and Apple will only have the Near Filed Communication.

Another Ace, or looks like it, for the Nexus 5 is the upcoming Android M or Android Marshmallow, which was press released by Google to have all the fix and patches for the current Lollipop's glitches and issues,  as Android Pit cited on its report.

On top of the patches and fixes, the new operating system will also have the updated permission user interface and enhanced permission behavior as well as an updated finger API capability. The enhanced fingerprint API will enable better error reporting, better fingerprint enrollment experience and an additional enumeration support for greater reliability, the technical website added.

With the Android M and Android Pay, the LG-manufactured Nexus 5 looks to overcome the subpar performance of its predecessor and is also posting to go head to head with its more popular competitors, Samsung and Apple.
