Felicity Smoak was confirmed to be the funny IT programmer girl again this coming "Arrow" Season 4 and it has just been announced that her mother, Donna Smoak, played by Charlotte Ross, will be reprising her role for the show. Since Season 3 was darker and Season 4 is said to be much lighter than the previous season, fans are wondering if Felicity and Oliver's romance will grow into something deeper.

In a report by TV Over Mind, it remains to be unknown why Donna Smoak will be reuniting with her daughter in season 4 as details about her arrival is still under the wraps. According to the publication, it might be possible that Donna's return may mean that the father of Felicity will finally be introduced or at least information about him will be revealed. Other speculations about her arrival include the possibility that Felicity might want to ask some advice for the developments in her life such as being stuck in a love triangle.

Donna will be returning on the sixth episode of Season 4. Last time that Donna was seen, which was during the third season, she told Felicity that she knows her daughter is in love with Oliver and has given her some advice.

Speaking of Oliver, Hollywood Life reported some possibilities about the Olicity romance. The two will be in a relationship but this will be a big change for Oliver as he has to split his time being Oliver and being Arrow. Executive producer of the show, Wendy Mericle, shared in an interview that Oliver will be in a different place as he is much happier and in love however, his relationship with Felicity will be challenging.

Meanwhile, for Arrow, there will also be big changes as a new super suit will be featured in "Arrow" Season 4 as well as a new and improved headquarter for him and his team, Christian Post shared.
