Fox News Anchor Megyn Kelly has temporarily bid goodbye to her show's viewers as she will be on a 10-day vacation following Donald Trump's "blood" comments after a GOP heated debate. Meanwhile, it has been clarified that the host's R & R was planned even before the heated debate occurred.

During her "Kelly Files" program on Wednesday night, Megyn Kelly said she has not been on a vacation for six months and she now plans to spend time with her three kids and husband. According to Daily Beast, Kelly also mentioned about trying to put down her electronic device while on a one week and a half break while relaxing on the beach, biking, or playing with her kids.

Kelly recently faced some backlashing not just from Donald Trump but from netizens after the Presidential candidate dropped the following words on other media personalities "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her-whatever" referring to Kelly. Trump was able to say those words as describing Kelly's interview during the debate wherein she asked him about him insulting women as "fat pigs and dogs". Trump clarified that his statement was not referring to menstruation.

Some netizens did not stop from criticizing Kelly even after announcing that she would be going on a vacation.  One sarcastically said he is glad the anchor would be taking a break.

Kelly's vacation however was not related to the heated GOP (Grand Old Party) debate.    According to Mediaite, a Fox representative confirmed that Kelly's vacation was already planned even before the Republican Party debate.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Times reports, another debate involving the 2016 Republican Presidential candidates will be held this January. Megyn Kelly together with her two other co-anchors will host the program.

Megyn Kelly is expected to be back to work on August 24th .
