StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void November 27 Release Date LEAKED; Producer Tim Morten Says StarCraft 3 Plausible

Rumors swirl online that the official release date of StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void has been leaked to be happening on November 27 this year. Also, producer Tim Morten has assured fans that there is a possibility to revisit the real-time strategy series Warcraft and a StarCraft 3 after the StarCraft 2 story is complete.

When Activision Blizzard, the parent corporation of Blizzard Entertainment, has initially confirmed that StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will be released in 2015 based on its Q2 2015 earnings report, news about the launching of the final expansion to the game happening on November 27 has succeedingly surfaced online.

According to the latest report from Lazy Gamer, South African retailer Raru has posted pre-order page for StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void, and there is a subtitle under the pre-order link that says "Expected: 27 Nov 2015." The retailer's website can be accessed from this link here.

Raru is said to be incredibly notorious for leaking sensitive information through game's pre-order. It is said that the online retailer gained its credibility when it accurately leaked the existence of Greninja, Jigglypuff and Splatoon Amiibo.

Meanwhile, StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void producer Tim Morten has reportedly stated that after his team is finished with the StarCraft 2 expansion, he assured that there will be a discussion on what to work on next such as a possibility for StarCraft 3with all-new characters and his team may also revisit the Warcraft franchise.

"It's very rewarding for us to hear that there's demand out there for more RTS content in the Warcraft universe," he said to IGN at the Gamescom 2015.  "There's no question, though, that we'll consider Warcraft, StarCraft, or even new ideas. Anything is possible [but] we don't have any specific plans," Morten added.

Morten went on to fuel the excitement of fans when he confirmed that Legacy of the Void isn't the end of StarCraft franchise as the universe has plenty of potential stories to be told in the future.

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is developed by Blizzard Entertainment for Windows PC and Mac OS X set to release November 27 this year.
