'Iron Man 4' may see Robert Downey Jr. again to reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man. He is also named the highest paid actor in Hollywood for the third year straight.

After an off-again, on-again relationship with the fourth installment of the superhero franchise, Robert Downey Jr. is set to return as rich playboy and genius inventor Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, according to Master Herald. It is said that the film may come out during Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The debut of 'Captain America: Civil War' on May 6, 2016 will mark the beginning of Phase 3 - a time set after the villainous AI Ultron's attack on Earth. Iron Man will battle it out with Captain America before the former's planned standalone movie will be released in theaters.

According to The Daily Mail, Downey Jr. claimed the title of highest paid Hollywood actor for the third time in a row after it was revealed that he receives as much as $80 million for his roles in blockbuster films.

The 50-year old A-lister made it to the top spot in Forbes' annual list of the richest leading men with fellow actors Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Adam Sandler and Bradley Cooper also in the top five. Downey Jr.'s climb to the top was owed to an expensive deal he procured from the recent 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

In another article by the Sydney Morning Herald, Bollywood's top actors also made it to the top ten. This named Indian superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar at the seventh, eighth and ninth place respectively. All 33 personalities included in the ranking grossly totaled $877 million in earnings

'Iron Man 4' is an upcoming superhero film as the fourth in the commercially successful Marvel franchise. The first in the series was released in 2008 and garnered two Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects and Best Sound Editing.

It received generally positive reviews and proved profitable at the box office grossing $585 million over a $140 million budget, according to Box Office Mojo. It produced two more movies - the second premiered in 2010 while the third came out in 2013. The fourth is currently under discussion.
