Pop punk superstar Avril Lavigne recently recovered from acquiring the life threatening Lyme disease for almost a year. In the recent Special Olympics World Games that was held in Los Angeles, Lavigne showed the world she was back again, and performed her latest single 'Fly.' On the other hand, Avril is set to be part of the upcoming Disney animated musical film 'Charming.'

Avril Lavigne, wife of Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger, just survived the life-threatening Lyme disease which made her a bed-ridden patient for almost a year. After recovering, Lavigne performed 'Fly' at the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games which was held in Los Angeles. She said she dedicates her latest single to all the people who were suffering from illness, hoping all of them will also survive.

Meanwhile, Avril is set to join Demi Lovato and Ashley Tisdale in the upcoming Disney animated musical 'Charming.' Though there was nothing much revealed about the film, Unreality TV reported that it would be about the three Disney princesses Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White finding themselves being engaged to the same Prince Charming.

Ashley Tisdale will be the voice of Cinderella and Snow White will be Avril's. However, it would not be Demi that would be Sleeping Beauty, but Chinese singer G.E.M. Demi Lovato on the other hand would be the voice of Lenore, and will be the executive producer of the film.

Avril confirmed that she was part of the film by uploading its official poster on Instagram, with caption "Hey guys! If you don't know, now you know! Officially announcing: I'm#SNOWWHITE in the up coming animated feature #CHARMING! (@CharmingMovie)"

As per Look To The Stars, Avril started the Easter Seals Summer Camp program which helps finance children with disabilities to join a summer camp. Lavigne said "Since starting this program, we've helped more than 100 children and young adults to attend summer camp to make lifelong friends, have fun and learn new skills."

The said summer camp is throughout the United States and Canada. The chief of Easter Seals, Randy Rutta said "We're thrilled that Avril is continuing her support of our summer camp programs."
