'The Expendables 4' might bring Terry Crews back in as he had not been slain off in the previous film. He also shared his thoughts as to who should return for the sequel. Kate Beckinsale and Naomi Watts are rumored to star in the all-girls spin-off 'ExpendaBelles'.

In an interview with Digital Spy at the 55th Monte Carlo TV Festival, 'Old Spice' favorite Terry Crews who played Hale Caesar, a barrel weapons specialist, revealed that he was glad he wasn't killed off in 'Expendables 3' even though his character was supposed to come to the end of his line.

He was also asked who he'd like to see in the upcoming film. He said, "Wow, you know what, there's a lot of people left. I mean Jackie Chan - I would love to see him. Steven Seagal would make a really good villain. You know what I mean? I really good villain.

So, Kurt Russell - I would love to see Kurt Russell join in... You know, there are some names still around. We can still keep it going, why not? And then bring the other guys back. Bring Harrison (Ford) back. Bring Antonio Banderas back. Bring Ronda Rousey back."

Even though the hype for an impending addition to the 'Expendables' franchise seemed to have gone lukewarm for a bit, Arnold Schwarzenegger seemed optimistic enough to push producer/writer Sylvester Stallone to continue with the all-star action series.

USA Today reported that Schwarzenegger said it would be great to push further since it was a good story with a great cast of heroes all in one film. Stallone's representatives however did not comment on any developments as of the moment.

A spin-off with an all-female cast called the 'ExpendaBelles' is set to put the franchise back in motion. It was reported to focus on a group of female spies tasked at a rescue mission to save a weapons engineer from a sultan in Indonesia. Several actresses have been rumored to join the cast ever since its announcement including Sigourney Weaver who reportedly turned down an offer.

According to Screen Relish, Kate Beckinsale has been tagged to play the lead as an ex-CIA officer in charge of leading the group of female operatives while Naomi Watts will star opposite her as an L.A. mom with a secret life as a guns and munitions specialist. These speculations remain unconfirmed.

'The Expendables 4' is an upcoming action-adventure film to be directed by Avi Lerner currently in discussions. Its predecessor debuted last 2014 to mixed reviews and generally negative criticism despite having a massive pool of action-stars assembled on-screen. It grossed $206 million against a $90 million budget, according to Box Office Mojo.
