Following the timeline of the first movie, Jack-jack will be a teenager when "The Incredibles 2" hit the cinemas. It's been almost a decade since the first movie came out but still, official reports about the sequel are scarce.

However, the lack of announcement both from Disney and Pixar did not stop the fans of the Parr family from speculating the second movie's plot.

One popular fan theory was mentioned in a report by Christian Today, wherein the story of Jack-Jack, the youngest child of Bob and Helen, could be the main focus of "The Incredibles 2."

Jack-Jack already displayed, though unintentionally, his shape-shifting power during the 2004 movie. It will be interesting to see him develop the said capability as he grows up with his siblings Dash and Violet. The site also mentioned that Jack-Jack could grow up rebellious due to his over-protective parents, who want their children to live as normal as they could.

The article also mentioned that possible release dates for the movie are November 2017 and December 2018.

iSchoolGuide on the other hand speculated that another character from the first movie will reveal her super powers in the much-awaited second installment.

According to the site, Edna Mode might have superhuman capabilities as well but decided to just stick to designing the costumes of known superheroes due to a dark past. However, Edna's character is so likeable that it will be interesting to see her once more in the sequel with or without super powers.

Latest news about the production of film is still limited at the moment. What's known to fans is that Brad Bird is working on the movie's script and will not settle until the right narrative is achieved. It is still uncertain if he will helm the sequel too but Screen Rant noted that in one of his interviews for "Tomorrowland," Bird indicated that "The Incredibles 2" is his next directorial project.

Disney and Pixar are yet to release official announcement about "The Incredibles 2" but popular theories include a teenage Jack-Jack at the center of the story as he develops his super power with the support of his over-protective parents.
