Apple MacBook Air 2016 is possibly cheapest in its product line. Accordingly, the 2016 Macbook Air will be introduced at a retail price of $899 but there isn't anything official yet until the Apple comes out to either deny or confirm the rumored price point of Macbook Air 2016. There are also speculations that it'll be unveiled by October this year sporting latest intel chipset, the Intel Core-M skylake processor.

According to techradar, Apple Macbook Air 2016 is possibly ready to debut on October 2015 in order to complete the market cycle of its predecessor Apple 2015 Macbook Air. However, the availability of laptop device in the market will be on March next year. Their latest laptop device will be using the Intel Core-M based Skylake processor which made available in the mass quantity on fourth quarter this year. MacBook Air 2016 is expected to roll out with two options- a 13-inch model and a 15-inch model.

As reported by gottabemobile, Macbook Air 2016 are seemingly sport the slimmer and lighter design of its exterior based on the latest Apple MacBook that just released on March this year according to Master Herald. Retina display screen and the USB Type-C port z sha shall also feature, which were also found on the latest Apple MacBook this year.

The Retina display is Apple's new technology for its device's display screen. According to macworld, there is a possibility that Macbook Air 2016 will be featuring retina display. It is meant to improve user's viewing experience and providing a 178-degree wide viewing angle with richer and more vibrant color output. It would serves to enhance the display to its fullest extent.

It seems that Apple Macbook Air will be competing against Microsoft Surface Pro 4, as it is reported that they will be releasing on the same date. Surface Pro 4 will be more expensive than the Macbook Air 2015. It is sporting Intel's newest chipset and running with Microsoft's latest OS windows 10. 

Nobody heard about Apple releasing a product in the retail market with the low introductory price until there are reports made everyone shock and at the same time expectant that hopefully the rumor is true. 

If Apple MacBook Air 2016 possibly cheapest in its product line, consumers would probably wait for it, though Apple Macbook Air 2015 is on sale at $825. In addition, retina display is so attractive to consumers nowadays.
