UN Goodwill Ambasadress, Angelina Jolie visited the children of Burma as part of her crusade in her humanitarian missions and she brought along with her Vietnamese- adopted son, Pax for the experience of a lifetime.

As part of her human rights work, Angelina Jolie went to Burma to meet its troubled people, especially the forgotten children who have been victims of the ethnic war in Burmese state. After meeting the country's high-ranking politicians, Jolie and her crew moved on to Kachin State, a very troubled area where poverty and violence rates are highly recognized.

She has mentioned during the meeting that: "I am looking forward to meeting with many people, including women's groups, civil society, displaced people and youth, to learn firsthand from them about their concerns and hopes for the future of the country."

Jolie and Pax met hundreds and even thousands of people who have been victims of the war in the region and who have witnessed thousands of tragic deaths. Jolie visits in four days in her role as a special crusader for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

It was such a very fitting place for Jolie  to be in Burma, also known as Myanmar, since her mission is to highlight those people who have been marginalized and displaced. Her main idea of the plight is for her to visit them, see for herself the condition of the people and also to improve the human rights in the whole country.

Sources say that one of the main agenda of Jolie's visit is to emphasize on the issue of sexual violence which is very high in the country. She met the local people with different human rights and inter- relations organizations to carry out projects promoting children and women's rights. She also addressed the issue of voter education as to address the upcoming election in Burma.

It is such an amazing thing to help other people, and for that many people salute Jolie's good acts as a Humanitarian advocate. As for her mission, many people are hoping for the success of her projects and advocacies.
