Transitions and many more of plot changes are to predict in the Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries. Viewers will be watching out for a possible new love life for Damon, more heretics to visit Mystic Falls, and probably more "Steroline" action.

Back in Season 6, leading lady Nina Dobrev who plays Elena appeared for the last time in episode 22 of the show. Elena was put to a deep sleep and will not be awaken until Bonnie dies. Another major character who left the series is Tyler. Played by Michael Trevino, Tyler made a decision to leave Mystic Falls for the better of all.

With two major stars gone in the show, The Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec confirmed with Hollywood Life that the departures have not affected the story line of the show. Instead, they have developed new twist that will surely make viewers more excited and involved in the lives of the Salvatore brothers and the rest Mystic Falls.

According to Enstars, the plot for Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries will revolve around plenty of heretics who will wander around Mystic Falls, including Lily (Annie Wersching) and her heretic family.

Entertainment Weekly dished out that Justice Leak (Insurgent) takes the character of Malcolm who is also a heretic. Leak will be part of the pilot episode of the Season 7. Another heretic who will join the Lily and Malcolm is Julian who is a ferocious immortal, will be played by Todd Lasance (Home Away).

Other stars to look out for are Tim Kang (The Mentalist) as Oscar and Kaine (Zoo) who will portray Beau described as silent but deadly heretic. Viewers will first see Beau at the premiere of the Season 7. There were also speculations that Damon and Bonnie might just end up as a couple.

The series was created for television by Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson. The original cast stars Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Nina Dobrev, Steven R. McQueen, and Matthew Davis.

The supernatural and fantasy romantic television series The Vampire Diaries will return for its seventh season on Thursday, 08 October at 8 pm ET on The CW Network.
