Moto X Style, Moto X Play Price, Release Date Confirmed? Metal Accents, RAM, Snapdragon 808, and More Unveiled

Motorola Android phones naming Moto X Style and Moto X Play are announced for flagship. Unveiled in press conferences in New York City, London, and Sao Paolo, the new line of phones are offered for cost conscious option.

Moto X Style boasts similar designs on last year's Moto X. The new handset, Moto X Style has a 5.7-inch, quad-HD screen, leaping ahead of the 5.2-inch 1080p. The handset is outfitted with a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 gigabytes of RAM. Accommodated with 21-megapixel rear camera paired with a 5-megapixel front module, both have uses flash.

Another boasting feature of Moto X Style are the front-facing stereo speakers. According to Apple Insider, the handset customizes with different metal accents and back materials similar to its predecessor, among them new are silicon options.

According to Motorola, A 3,000 milliamp-hour battery should supply up to 30 hours of "mixed use," which offers a feature called TurboCharge. This battery feature offers an approximate charging time of 15 minutes that can restore 10 hours of battery life. Available storage options comes with 16, 32, and 64-gigabyte that owners will also be able to insert micro SD cards sized up to 128 gigabytes.

GSM Arena describe the handset outfitting a scale back of 5.5-inch, 1080p screen, the Moto X Play also boasts with a Snapdragon 615 processor and 2 gigabytes of RAM. Moto X play has also been reported of sporting a water-repellant body, and a 3,630 milliamp-hour battery which should power the phone up to two days. 16 to 32 gigabytes and an expandable via micro SD covers as an internal storage for the said handset.

Motorola has not yet released pricing or affirmed release date for the newly debuted handsets. The company promised that the device will be marked at "$200 to $300 less" with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 with OS additions such as Moto Assist and Moto Display, compared to competing products of Apple and Samsung mobiles.

The new line of smartphones was represented by Lenovo after acquiring Motorola from Google in October 2014. Previous reports indicate of Lenovo acquiring Motorola to enter and gain access into more traditional markets where the Chinese company hasn't had a strong smartphone presence, including in the US. CNET provided details on the new products indicating that Lenovo is keeping its promise to give Motorola wide latitude in how it operates.

Rick Osterloh, Motorola Chief Operating Officer previously said that he believed of Lenovo's continuing efforts in allowing him to strategize plans for the company.

Details on all new phones come unlocked for use on any carrier and ship with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop installed. According to Financial Post, the Moto G costs about $199 in Canada and is available worldwide from today. While Moto X Play will be available by August.
