The list of tracks for the NBA 2K16 soundtrack has been revealed. With tracks from Jay Z, Zedd, and Calvin Harris, 2k Sports reveals that it will be "the most extensive soundtrack in NBA 2K history."

Dance and groove to the music of the NBA 2K16 soundtrack, which was released recently by 2K Sports. The said soundtrack will feature 50 tracks of different music genres, from punk, alternative, to electronic music.The tracks in the album include music from the 70s up to the contemporary ones today.

2K Sports has announced earlier that they will release the yearly NBA 2K game with "the most extensive soundtrack in NBA 2K history with three-genre defining collaborators at the helm," noted by Australia Network News.

NBA 2K posted this status, together with a link to a playlist in Spotify: "Listen to the most extensive soundtrack in NBA 2K history right now featuring DJ Mustard, DJ Khaled, and DJ Premier."

Other artists who are featured in the NBA 2K16 soundtrack include Calvin Harris, Major Lazer, Zedd, Gnarls Barkley, Friendly Fires, One Republic, The Flaming Lips, Drake, Jay Z, Nas, and Ramones among other artists, as reported by VG 24/7.

There will be six in-game playlists in the NBA 2K16 soundtrack compiled by three producers. Each in-game playlist will include custom instrumental tracks from each of the producers. These tracks will be available in-game during the MyGM and MyPlayer experiences. The soundtrack includes a 2K Classics Mixtape, that features fave tracks from the older 2K installments; an "Around the World" playlist; and a master playlist that includes this year's 50-track selection.

In an interview with NBA 2K's Vice President for Marketing, Alfie Brody, quotes Brody saying, "As we continue to identify ways to elevate the NBA 2K franchise for our fans, we wanted to give them more options and choices than ever before with these year's soundtrack. By bringing these influential producers onboard, fans will be able to experience in-game music in unique, customizable ways."

To the fans of NBA 2K who are looking forward to play NBA 2K16, the game may be pre-ordered online or purchased in a physical store. The game will be released by September 29 of this year, and will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and for Windows PC.
