Argos Soditic, an independent European private equity group with offices in Geneva, Paris and Milan, disclosed to the public that it acquired the National Distribution Group. The acquisition deal was a buy-in management buyout or BIMBO headed by Nigel Henton with his management team.

The main goal of the management team as supported by Argos Soditic is to increase the group's revenue by maintaining its present clientle, pharmacies and specialty shops, and introduce its product globally.

National Distribution was founded by Maryse and Jean Estienne twenty five years ago. It develops and distributes natural food supplements in specialty shops and pharmacies. At present, it employs one hundred twenty-four staff and its main office, including its logistics platform and research and development team, is in Ashford, UK. The group's estimated gross revenue is EUR32 million.

The deal came at the right time. The sellers, Maryse and Jean Estienne of National distribution were already decided in transferring management of the company to the expertise of Nigel Henton and his management team. To complete the new company, the Business Development Director and Financial Director were recruited to support the team.
