Apple is gearing up for the release of its latest tablet, dubbed by tech enthusiasts as the iPad Pro sometime this last quarter of 2015.

It is unclear, however, what moniker Apple plans to dub on this upcoming iPad, but the media have already been calling it iPad Pro. There were even rumors that it will be called "iPad Air Plus," like a name-cross between iPhone 6 Plus and the iPad Air.

Tech Radar originally reported that the 12.9-inch tablet will enter production in September. However, they updated that new rumor points to a mid-November launch date. They also added that Apple may be playing safe and shipping the iPad in limited volumes. This is to test the waters first and gauge how popular its larger tablet will be.

Speculations about the specs of this upcoming Apple tablet are all over the Internet. Mac Rumors expects this tablet to measure in at 12.9 inches making it Apple's largest tablet. This tablet would be closest in size to the 13-inch MacBook Air. Also, just like its latest predecessors, it may measure in at 7mm, and it will likely include several iPad Air 2 features like 2GB of RAM, Touch ID, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

Furthermore, Vine Report mentions possible significant improvements in terms of hardware and performance. This includes augmented battery, boosted RAM and an upgraded shooter.

Moreover, above all these buzz, Macworld UK thinks that launching a big, costly tablet would be an odd move to make in 2015. They said it's because of the declining interest in the tablet market as a whole. Also, the success of the iPad mini line over the past few years prove that the tablet market is after the smaller displays. And lastly, aside from the popularity of laptops and smartphones, wearables and the smart home will be the next hot stuff.
