New casting call information for 20th Century Fox's "Gambit" movie has recently surfaced. One of the character descriptions matches Marvel's supervillain, Mr. Sinister, and is now predicted to be the film's central villain. Channing Tatum' superhero film is slated to begin its production this fall for an October 2016 release date.

"Foxcatcher" actor Channing Tatum might be the only one attached to play a role in Fox's "Gambit" for now, but it won't be long before the project completes its official list of cast. The casting call for the superhero flick has been posted by Showbizz411 recently, revealing details of the characters that will surround its lead actor in the comic book adaptation.

The production details allegedly under the code name "Chess", has listed 14 names in total. While a few appears to have bigger roles than the others, a character description code named "Louie" stands out in the list. According to the site's report, the character is an appealing 40 to 50 year male entrepreneur of any ethnicity, who has an unexpected dark side. Cinema Blend predicts that this character could be the key villain in Gambit, matching Marvel's Nathaniel Essex also known as Mr. Sinister.

For those who are not familiar with the character, he is a 19^th century biologist who has become obsessed with cloning. He used to be one of Apocalypse's horsemen and original sidekick. According to Movie Pilot, he was able to clone Jean Grey, and create the replicated mutant and Cyclop's child, Cable. He has an interesting history with Gambit in the comics, having hired the Raging Cajun to steal special diaries from the Weapon X program. It is believed that including the said villain in the upcoming film would make a great exploration for future adventures, considering his established history in the X-Men world.

Nothing is confirmed though. However, the predicted character's inclusion does make sense within the context of Gambit's history in the comics. Fox's "Gambit" will be directed by Rupert Wyatt and will begin filming this October. Starring Channing Tatum as the titular mutant, "Gambit" is scheduled to premiere on October 7, 2016.
